Why they came to Lucy:
With a corporate team of nearly 200 staff working across multiple office locations in New South Wales and South Australia, R.M.Williams recognised the increasing levels of pressure and stress among their people. The organisation sought to take proactive steps to support employee wellbeing, reduce burnout risk, and foster a culture grounded in psychological safety and sustainable performance.
R.M. Williams engaged Lucy to:
- Support employees to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing
- Equip individuals and teams with practical tools to prevent burnout
- Create a psychologically safe environment where people feel empowered to speak up and support one another
- Enhance education and awareness around workplace mental health and sustainable performance
- Build lasting behavioural change through a thoughtfully staged, organisation-wide program
The work they did together
Lucy designed and delivered a comprehensive wellbeing and high-performance uplift program, combining digital learning with live facilitation over an extended period.
The program included:
- A custom online course hosted on the R.M.Williams intranet, featuring videos, reflection-based worksheets, team activities, and interactive modules.
- Live coaching sessions and Q&As, giving employees the opportunity to explore challenges and apply key learnings.
- In-person workshops delivered at R.M.Williams corporate offices in NSW and SA, focused on the BRAVE Burnout Prevention Framework, empowering individuals and teams to proactively support their wellbeing and foster a psychologically safe culture.
- Follow-up online sessions and surveys to reinforce learning, support accountability, and embed key behaviours.
- A blended learning experience that enabled participants to engage at their own pace while maintaining team-wide alignment.
At the heart of the program was Lucy’s BRAVE Framework—encouraging Boundaries, Rest, Authenticity, Vitality, and Empathy for Self—which provided staff with a clear, practical structure for strengthening wellbeing and performance.
